Ultra-lightweight Rivet Gun Weighs 30% Less Than Other Riveters

St. Louis, MO - SB Group recently introduced an innovative new Lobster Tool air riveter that features a magnesium alloy frame and air cylinder, effectively reducing the weight of the tool by more than 30% compared to other models.

The Lobster Tool Magnesium Air Riveter marks a significant advance in rivet tool design. It's the first tool of its kind to use magnesium alloy for structural components, making the tool lighter than riveters made of aluminum alloy and high impact polymer, but just as durable as aluminum, and far more durable than plastic. What's more, because it's so lightweight, this new riveter is the perfect choice for precision electronic manufacturing environments, yet is tough enough for high volume abusive industrial environments.

Available in two models (the AR-41M and the ARV-41M, which features an on/off air control join and mandrel tank to collect spent mandrels), the Magnesium Air Riveter features a time-tested ergonomic design, plus Lobster Tools' exclusive shockless feature that reduces vibration to the operator's hand.
